This problem is big problem.
I have this issue also by WhatsApp and it is extremely annoying when I play a record and it suddenly stops and screen goes off.
I hope Xiaomi resolve it as soon as possible.
Anyway I never go to buy Xiaomi in the future.

Hi, I got my redmi 10 phone and once I make a call it goes black, I looked for the proximity sensor to disable it but it's not available, does it mean that some don't come with the setting,so how can I fix this issue, really this is frustrating

An temp. fix is to press the lock button and resume your call while the phone is locked

I have problem with Redmi note 10 pro where screen gets black while playing the whats app audio. Proximity sensor is really annoying.

I have the MI11i and the proximity sensor is broken from day 1.... The screen turns black after answering a call, and no way in hell I can wake it up for several seconds... So annoying... Makes me wanna throw the phone to the wall.....

The Proximity Sensor Reset/Overrider app did a marvelous job fixing the issue on my 10t Lite!

I bought Poco F3 and device has Proximity sensor issues. Device is on Service now, I am waiting the verdict.

I have redmi 9c nfc with the same proximity sensor problems... Sometime it works but mostly not
Black screen when receiving a call ..the same when i try to make a call....In lock screen the 2xtab doesn't work properly despite the correct adjustments..
Twice hard reset but still nothing...

Yes same problem with my xiaomi redmi note 10 pro. Sometimes display doesn’t off during call. Sometimes display doesn’t turn on when I try to cut call. Odd stuff
