Only apple wins. Look out for more stuff from android to be found in ios. But they will be called revolutionary. Watch apple patent more android features. I'm going nokia and microsoft. They get paid everytime an apple and android phone is sold

It will not suprise me if they make another announcement soon to let the world know that they will be working together.
This will be in the best interest of Apple as their era slowly seems to be comming to an end as others are blooming.

They don't have any patents... moreHTC was going after ISO and all apple software this was going to impact on all apple products including yes the iPod , macs and probooks as well as the iphone. HTC had been successful in getting ten apple patents claims dismissed only two of apple claims against HTC were yet to be resolved. So this represents a win win for both companies. Apple will be paying HTC for every product they produce. This is a case of the snake biting back. HTC were closing on US ban on all apple products. How did they do it well the bought patent portfolio . NEVER ATTACK A SCORPION FROM THE FRONT ONLY.......LOL

Or at least the ... morewell the real thing is why apple would make such a deal in the first place htc didn't have any big scary patents up their sleeve , unless htc ended up buying web os like it was considering that would give it something for apple to be scared of , if not htc is just going to get half its profit stolen , which i doubt htc would go for considering it's latest profit reports.

A cynic might suggest that Apple are happy to settle with HTC as HTC are no longer the biggest threat to them (a shame really because HTC phones are generally good). If Apple and Samsung could let common sense prevail as well then we would all be winners.

lol seems like afraid knew they would lose this patent suit also . So they reconciled with HTC hahahahha poor apple !!! cheaters ... They have been in a wave of losing patent wars recently. They would have eventually lost this too !!

HTC is relatively a small firm. They don't have any patents to fight against Apple. Anyway, Apple will take a huge chuck of HTC's profits and I'm not sure whether this is good for the mobile phone in general.
However, on the other hand, Samsung, Motorolla and Nokia are in a totally different league. Apple will have a hard time to suck more bloods from those companies.

Apple will not change overnight, they r playing divide & rule policy. Shame on Google to leave HTC and fall victim of Apple bully to sign agreement when HTC had 100% wining patent in LTE
