Secondly, Huawei here is not trying make a UI. I I'm not mistaken they are based off the AOSP. Alot of other Android Distros also do this, for example Lineage OS and Arrow OS. So Huawei shouldn't have a problem to name HarmonyOS with the OS at the back. Hope this let's you understand the situation better

Second. Android and harmony os just only share the same source code which is based on Linux. The rest of the ui itself is like a mixture of emui and ios ieth soem android.
