Yeah they might not have to pay fees to list their apps on the marketplace, but do they not need to eat and survive? The listing fee in the marketplace is just ONE of their expenses. This article lacks important details, their is no mention of the name of the bill or what it entails not much to chew on.
I love the fact that both Google and Apple are using good old fashioned scare tactics to keep their Monopoly on app transaction fees.

What I am saying is, completely cutting off that fee is not the best way to go. Apple and Google would need to charge something from developers for providing that platform to earn money.
If working for free, why cant the developers give us all the apps for free without breaking our minds with useless shitty ads?

LOL Google and Apple will just raise cost associated for those developers to keep using their stores.
IF they can't get a percentage of each transaction, they will probably just charge higher fees based on the number of downloads or installs.
