So you have to reset back to Windows 7 followed by upgrade to Windows 10, and then reinstall all the software you need? You got a lot of spare time. And no, I still don't believe you. You are just exaggerating. Boot time for Windows 10 is a lot longer than Windows 7.

If u keep on buying new parts throwing away the wasted ones then that is not going ot reduce e-waste much even if it would alot though. And as more companies get less sales its less profit. Then the phones available would be considered as e-waste. And then the profits would go almost 0 requiring companies to leave or even if a few are there prices would be extremely high. So I think this e-waste is just an excuse to making the oems rise the price of phones. I mean that's how the market worls

                        In past people used wood and then stone nowdays they use steel and many other components and alloys which proven great.
                        Everything evolving i dont think its impossible to make a device which can last lets say 100 years.
                        For E-Waste it will be great idea and with constant updates i would and should be great.

                        Like for computer for example. You have your chasis and maybe motbherboard and you will only swap for new ram, CPU, GPU, Cooling etc .
                        And you will keep swapping for as liong as you arent out of options.
                        Same can work with updates.
                        Like windows 10 had to be last windows.

                          Of course old phones without security updates are quite dangerous, 7 years is enough to render them not so dangerous in computer world.
