I sure ain't spending near £2000 on a device that has a giant crease down the middle of it's screen, a screen that can be damaged by my own finger nail no less.....
And I'm sure Apple will not entertain releasing a product with such compromise's.

[deleted post]Sure, because everyone likes having a massive crease down the middle of their screen. When that shortcoming can be fixed, maybe Apple will implement it then. For the time being, foldable phones are still more of a curiosity and gimmick, just like curved screens were a few years ago.

Of course because Android companies couldn't find for them any real use and the tech just wasn't mature enough, if Apple is doing one it already tells that they have found good reason them to exist, what that is we will find out in coming years.
I personally don't understand the point of AR glasses, but i'm Interested to see what Apple thinks are those key things why people should use them. Let's not forget that Apple offers products people really haven't thought they would need until they use one.

[deleted post]Translation: Apple will not look to implement any feature or function that harms the user experience, if they can help it. Like everyone else they make mistakes from time to time.
Not that this response is worth a dam, as it's likely to be deleted by the mod's anyhow, right GsmArena? it's obvious they much prefer their comment's sections to carry a strong anti-apple bias.

-Trix-, 08 Sep 2021Can bet money that when Apple announce their AR/VR glasses ... moreAR glasses are far from becoming mainstream product. They need so much computing power and battery to last longer. Tech isn't mature enough for AR glasses especially for the one Apple fans are dreaming about. And they also don't make any sense except for the fact that it looks cool.

DaFink, 08 Sep 2021Oh look another Apple related thread being highjacked by Ap... moreExactly. Just look that fold 3 underscreen cam, they know it's pure crap and yet they offer it for $2000 phone! :D They won't add it to S22 line because it's nowhere as good as it should be. They just did it to show that they can, which been their way always and is reason why their galaxy lines sales are down so much. They just offer all kind of crap which has no real use and potential users are seeing it more and more. And sametime these few clueless loud Android boys praise them while no-one cares :D

Anonymous, 08 Sep 2021The grapes are sour for him Oh look another Apple related thread being highjacked by Apple hating anons, what a surprise!
Apple won't look to implement foldable technology until they believe it to be mature, functional and reliable. They appear happy to allow early, experimental and barely functional technologies be tested on the android crowd.
The trade off to that being having to listen to said android crowd drone on endlessly about having access to things that are not yet in the apple eco system, like anybody actually cares in the real world!
I could buy a foldable right now if choose to, But I wouldn't touch one with your money, let alone my own.

Maybe the reason that Apple put out features that is already being in the other OSes 3-5years ago is it because that certain feature will not be a pain in the ass anymore as it is 3-5years when these other innovators put out that feature but problems arises. It can cause problems if not implemented properly and causing a big impact on Apple’s image as a company, so they tend to include it in their devices or OSes late. Just like widgets, we know that they copied it from Android, and it is like 9 or 8 years ago when they introduce it, but you see the widgets in Android is inconsistent because of fragmentation (many manufactures, many iterations of Android, no unity in terms of widgets compatibility and visual) so problems arises. Apple, when they think it is the right time to include it to their OSes, I would say they did a very good job on implementing it (Though there are issues, they did a very good job on issuing fixes). I like Android for what it is, but Apple won my heart on their timely OS updates and really unified UI.

and who needs a repairable phone without every part being locked to the motherboard.
and most importantly who needs a phone with all those features on a phone that doesn't cost a kidney.
lets be real, apple invented the Touchscreen phone concept and the wireless earbuds as much as supreme invented the fashion clothing.

[deleted post]Even iphone copy a product or a system they mange to improve it and run better.I m an android user and i love android but iphone just makes better and quality device. My wife has an iphone 5 years old and it performs better than an 3 years samsung s10 in terms of battery, heating and even pictures quality and the buyback system offers more money to her than to a newer phone, even in long time the iphone has more value. Im a samung fan but im sick of exynos processors than are outperform by competitor.Im a long term device older and i believe iphone offers better support and quality long term. The only reason that i old on android is that im afraid to switch to iso, duno if i like it.But now that they bring new features i may consider.
