    10 years later, in 2021, it's an easy choice, go for Android. You won't be disappointed and you get plenty of options to pick and choose according to your requirements.

            All flagships had touched €1000 mark, so I opted for Mi 10t pro at €600 over iPhone 12 at €800. There were other options as well around the €700-€800 like S20 FE and Xperia 5 II, but I had made up my mind.
            With the newly released Mi 11t pro, it's clear I got a great deal with the MI 10t pro and I'd probably upgrade next year or two years later.

            Spending €1000 on any phone isn't worth it.
            You'll get 95% of what you are looking for... at half the price.

              Some of the SD865/870 based phones are performing even better than SD888 phones due to better thermal management.

                I used to get 8.5-9hr SOT on my OnePlus 8 pro (SD865) while operating at 1080p@120Hz.

                Currently, I get around 7.5-8hr SOT on my Mi 11 Ultra (SD888) while operating at 1080p@120Hz.

                    If it won't give any real benefit in performance, but will consume more battery, it's a con in my opinion.

                        Gee whiz, so many argumentative comments. Here's the deal for me: I use a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and love it, and I prefer Android over iPhone. Always have and always will like the more open nature of Android vs. the closed Apple ecosystem. There are fantastic Android flagship phones out there, and Apple makes great hardware too. But Apple's real victory is marketing. They rake in the dough because multitudes of people want an iPhone. Don't believe me then go to any high school in America. My 16 year old can only find 1 or 2 friends that have Android phones, everyone else has Apple. He'd rather keep using his cracked old iPhone XR than have a new Android phone. Since Apple has such marketing powers, I bought some stock in their company. So now I love Apple (for investment purposes) and Android (for daily phone use purposes).

                          Xiaomi and Huawei flagship sales are really low. Not even all the Android flagship phone sales combined get anywhere close of iPhone sales.

                          "As per Counterpoint Research, the Galaxy S21 series recorded sales of about 13.5 million units globally for the first six months of its launch." In six months! Sametime Apple sold 100 million iPhone 12 in 7 months. Just accept it Android flagships aren't selling and people don't care those things you guys keep repeating over and over again.
