A good thing in my eyes, as an Android-User. Further more, Lightning should be replaced with USB-C. Let's see,what IOS16 brings to the table next year. Maybe enough for me, to switch over from Android. This years iPhones don't really get me excited or make me think that it's time to give it a try.

I believe the last product that I felt Apple was being innovative was with the AirPods. But that product forced Apple to remove the headphone jack to sell us $160 wirelessear buds.
I don't really care for the Apple Watch being we need to charge another device with us. Owned one. Sold it after 7 months. But the AirPods could self-charge inside its case. That to me was innovative and had others copy that style.

Punch hole is so 2019. Galaxy S10 said hello. Apple is always late to the party. At this rate, Apple may only want to change things up and be innovative once every 10 years.

Apple stopped caring to innovate years ago.

If it's gonna have a punchhole camera, then it must have in-display biometrics in place of 3D face unlock. For what it's worth, the punchhole is so 2018; Apple has a lot of opportunity to innovate but chose to replicate.

I feel pity for those Android fans that never used iPhone with face ID. Do you people know that the face ID camera and sensors is not only function as biometric security? It also has other function as well. One of it is when your iPhone rang/ring receiving calls, it will automatically turned down the volume of your ringtone when you looked at your iPhone almost to the point you only can hear it so quietly. Every iPhone with face ID have this feature. If your iPhone in your pocket or you don't look at the phone. It will rang/ring loudly as what you had set it. I never came across with any Android phone that has this feature. Be it flagship or mid range Android phone and FYI, I'm using both iPhone and Android phone.
