Daimon, 22 Sep 2021It looks beautiful. Vista and 7 also look good. 8 and 10 ... moreVista was good. Windows 8 was somewhat a downfall (flat UI anyone ?), but still very beautiful because of a lot of colors. Windows 8 was also somewhat consistent. Windows 10 was simply an ugly junk.

    It looks beautiful.
Vista and 7 also look good.
8 and 10 are ugly, even uglier than windows 2000.

I do play multiplayer games, I just do not play the toxic title you have mentioned, thank you very much. And again, there will be no issues. None at all. I have already proved a TPM cannot be used for hardware bans and Microsoft would not suffer the bad PR for an imaginary reason. If you have nothing more/smart/factual to add, please do not say anything else. Just saying one will face some unnamed issues when it is clear they will not is just a weak argument.

Windows 11 should support Intel Skylake as well.
Reason is their Surface is in the list, so of course 6th and 7th Gen chips can work.

awacs, 21 Sep 2021I know, but isn't 850 less powerful than 6700?He just said, it has nothing to do with the speed of the cpu, well at least not a lot to do with that, but more with the tpm version 2 support. Research on the internet what that is and you will understand the problem better.

Using an 7700HQ and its running Win11 better than Win10, so i dont know what's the problem Microsoft facing to add 7700HQ, 7700 and 7700K.

Microsoft already have a bad PR for this, many people will jump to a Linux distro anyways.
So what was your point? You can install Win11 on a non-TPM PC? Cool, just if you find any issues don't come complaining about it. 🙄

When Windows 10 came out, MicroSoft promised there would no longer be any versions and numbers. There would only be updates. Windows 10 was to be the last mother OS with incremental updates, feature additions and security patches coming in as and when needed. This is just a ploy to get people to upgrade perfectly good and functioning hardware.

Even during the tenure of Windows 10, every update involved issues and patches to resolve issues. Mac in comparison was like a Toyota. OS updates were seamless and you never knew they were happening. The only reason I don't use a Mac personally if for external storage. I have to reformat everything to Mac and the storage won't work with other media interfaces and smart TVs.

I am one and have never touched that title of my life, nor do I ever intend to. If that game is ripe with cheaters, the developer should get the loopholes in their shoddy code fixed. There is really no reason Microsoft would suffer the bad PR just to implement user-clearable hardware bans for a single game. The whole hardware ban based on TPM thing is just nonsensical to begin with.

They will find a way to circumvent it with ease, especially with platforms that do not use TPMs, or with VMs. And a TPM can be cleared* so your hardware ban is void. There are so few cheaters, which only affects a ridiculously small fractions of "gamers" it is a frankly weak reason to mandate a TPM.
