Why did your brother change to Nokia? Software updates? If so, why doesn't he want it? SD 665 vs 732g is a big difference in performance, no matter android 11 or not.

As for Nokia, don't speak for others. My brother recently sold his Poco X3 for a Nokia 5.3 and he's not regretting it. In fact, the latest Android 11 OS update now shows faster performance than before.

Even standard form factor (candybar) style phones come at around that price. This has a more expensive recipe, especially considering this has two high resolution amoled displays. That costs. Microsoft's entry in the android phone market is also new, and this is a low volume niche device.

Xiaomi isnt android on one program, even some Nokia still not get android 11. Nokia might win in update but ITS hardware is garbage. Look people aren't buying Nokia anymore, they're almost dead, people are now looking at the hardware and price.

You can see newer releases such as the 2019 redmi note 8 getting 2 Android updates with high specifications at a low price. If you've never used Xiaomi, don't tell lies.

Up to this point, there is no Android phone that can have more than three official OS update except for Fairphone 2. The only way to go longer is to flash a stable custom ROM, but not all smartphones have such a privilege since it's a community-driven work and it all depends on the smartphone's popularity.

Omg! It takes a special kind of talentless moron to design the hinges silver, which completely destroys the flow of the black bezels between the two screens. I was seriously looking forward to this year's release. Definitely skipping it now or possibly waiting for another $600 fire sale. Looks ugly AF.

On your Windows laptop Microsoft earns money from you using the OS and included software and store. On an Android device the manufacturers only have a guaranteed income from the sale. Baking in 5 years of software support will make the devices very costly.

A commitment is not a promise. And in either case, that amount of money for 3 years of support is robbery.
