even lg does that to prolong battery...
besides you dont always need to charge to a 100%...
most of my phones can last for a day for casual use...
so a charging every morning for an hour will give me another day not worrying about charging...
but, ye, nothing wrong with fast charging...
i think dual battery solution is also good to minimize stress on battery... like on lenovo duel, or asus rog...

Ha. Meanwhile my MI 10 Ultra takes 18 minutes to fully charge. Is at 97% battery health after almost 15 konths and lasts almost 2 days on a single charge.

Some Chinese brands also use this practice. I think ZTE does this as well. Watch JerryRigEverything.

Apple simply implementing old tech on brand new phone to cut costs. It's embarrassing when budget Android devices can charge as fast as 65W. Most people using iPhone 12 Pro Max already down to 89% battery health after 9 months of use. It's all because of the cheap quality components used.

Feels like using backward technology.
Premium phones come with premium fast charging. This is why the iPhone is far from premium.

I don't like large phones. I prefer the iPhone mini size. But the iPhone 13 Pro is the one to get. It has such a large battery but broke Whosetheboss battery life records at close to 10 hours and his tests are draining. And 86 minutes from 0% to 100% is very fast for the large battery it carries.

Not everyone h... moreApple no longer provides a charger in the phone box (in the name of environment) so you will need to get one yourself or use your old charger. So supporting fast charging should not be an issue for Apple users.
I don't experience any downside of fast charging.

I think this is another example where Apple fans say any features Apple doesn't provide are useless. I bet that all those Apple fans who seemingly worry so much about battery health like it's the most important thing and avoid fast charging like the plague will all use fast charging when Apple introduces it.
