The annoying thing is that it seems like the developers don't trust that their players can see oh the game is sluggish and dial back the settings so in practice 120Hz is only whitelisted to specific devices. It's extremely frustrating.

The trained pilots can see up to 270Hz, but all that can happen, the stupid thing is to say that Apple did it because they know that nobody can see above that, then why would they include it in Pro and Max, and iPad since 2017?

On the other hand, imagine comparing a $ 400 device to an $ 800 device, if you don't know, there are things other than mAh that do the SOT

Ur just jealous from other people who have 120 hz l.

Unfortunately I had to get rid of it because of the phantom input issues.

For people who didn't play games, 1440p and 90hz is a very sweet spot, coupled with LTPO screen for more battery life. 120hz is good, but not a huge leap when going from 90hz to 120hz

It's less rewarding for most, yes, but it is there. The reason being less combined lag in the whole input/output loop and also by giving the device a much higher headroom to handle frame rate drops. Is it worth it in mobile where you can't really use big unlimited supply of power? Probably not. Grange rates are up to something like 360 Hz on PC and it looks like that is breaking 500 Hz next year. Polling rates on input devices is up in the ten thousands Hz.
