flyme is a horrible ios clone, just go to their website to see it, they even don't use stock Android features like the notification area and opt for custom implementation to copy ios, lol

Interesting partnership, this is probably the best move since they do sell a lot in China and having a partnership with a Chinese company will definitely help them out.

Also lol at that random making 2 fake accounts to misrepresent tann hauser and shanti dope. This is the 2nd time I've seen this.

I love chinesebrands. They know how to make better ui than xperia. xperia is always inferior.

LTRace, 15 Oct 2021Not a great move by Sony. I remember when i used Meizu M5 N... moreI am pretty sure they wuold have thought about this move properly....you are rating something on your own individual experience, and not the brand as a whole.

Hmm interesting collaboration. Let's see what they're bringing on the table

                      hmmm honestly
this collaboration is pretty interesting. Maybe we will see FlyMeOS going global in the future?

I would love to see Sony rebrand some Meizu phones with their ROM for the international market. The 18 and 18s are super nice and the price is very reasonable.

I hope these can be hidden... I had a Meizu. (pro 7 plus). and while the X30 was a quite decent chipset. FlyMe was kinda annoying to operate....

MIUI is extremely horrible in their budget to flagship phones)

LTRace, 15 Oct 2021Not a great move by Sony. I remember when i used Meizu M5 N... moreDevices are not going to use Meizu UI.
Just few Meizu apps and some functions are being ported to Xperia.

People in China do not like UIs very close to stock android.
This is why Sony wants to add some stuff, without having to spend money making them from zero.

Both have their roots in the audio industry, used to sell a lot of phones in the past (but not anymore), and have pairs of great-sounding wired earphones.. More similarities than many think there are.

Not a great move by Sony. I remember when i used Meizu M5 Note it was horrible, slow, sluggish, and FlymeOS was really unstable at that time. I hope Sony won't implement Flyme to global Sony devices.
