            Which is not case here.

            Phones use 888 because it is better than 2100 and 1200.
            Offer more.
            Simply.

            If samsung and mediatek had better chips than SD8xx, brands would choose them over qualcomm.

All these factors are why newer phones will likely not easily beat the endurance numbers of the old lenovos.

After all, Marshmallow isn't as hardware-intensive and power-consuming as Android 11 and 12 (though software optimization does play an important factor to the equation).

These SD 898 , MT2000 and A15 all are of the same generation and meant to compete against each other. Nothing less nothing more.

                              IpsDisplay, 20 Oct 2021What do you use and how do you set up your phone like a PC?At the moment, I'm using an LG V50 since it has Screen+ Desktop Mode support. Samsung, Huawei, and Motorola have their own Desktop Mode iteration to play with. Also, there are smartphones that don't have a standalone Desktop Mode iteration but do support video output (HDMI ALT), which has always been the case for Sony and OnePlus flagship phones.

                              Since I have intended on using desktop Linux OS on my phone, I use an app called Andronix. There are other alternatives to Andronix that I just found out, but I will check them out later on. If you want to run Windows, Samsung does allow you to run a Windows VDI client in DeX. I'm not sure if you can run Windows VDI clients on other brands.

                                Funny every year every flagship CPU and GPU is XX percent more effective and efficient and yet still the best endurance phone listed on GSM Arena is Lenovo P1 and Lenovo P2.

                                      rizki1, 20 Oct 2021Dimensity 2000, SD 898, Exynos 2200 and A15 wow 4 different... moreDon't forgot Google tensor. a14 was much higher in benchmark then all the sd 888 and exynos 2100 phones but in real world performance a14 got beaten by sd 888 and a15 even very higher than a14 and very very higher than sd 888 and still 888 went toe toe to with a15. All android flagships problem now is battery life and old efficiency cores and now that efficiency core prob solved only one thing left is better battery life and I hope samsung will fix they node prob which is heating issue efficiency issue and on par performance with tsmc node. Soo never underestimate Google tensor it can go toe to toe with sd 888 and a15
