Early Pixel 6 benchmarks put CPU performance below Snapdragon 888, Exynos 2100

The single-core performance is identical since they all use the same big cores, it's the multi-core performance where the Google chip lags behind.

[deleted post]😀 Tensor M1 is Samsung's downgraded Exynos 2100 in Google's panties 😀 Now I'm interested more in throttling test & over heating. Samsung destroyed Snapdragon 888 too. TSMC is better & the only good SoC in 2021 is Snapdragon 870 😀😀 the only thing good about these pixel 6 phones is Android 12 but what's software when overheating is bugging you ruins the whole experience

          SA007, 25 Oct 2021You drunk man? More like a Snapdragon 732G or 765G or 77... moreI would even say that most of the Oppo phones together with ColorOS are really good and fast. I used to have Oppo Reno 4 Lite. When I made a jump from S10+ I was really surprised how fast and solid Oppo is.

            Samsung’s 5nm foundries are sh#t mini pocket heaters, just look how they f#ckd Snapdragon 888. I'm only buying phones with TSMC chips foundries. Snapdragon 870 is the last good chip all round waiting to see which chip TSMC will produce next

              I new this Google's Tensor M1 chip was an Exynos hybrid chip just look at the GPU Mali sh#t

                I'll never buy a Google made product, buy I kind of understand what they're doing here. Enough with the optimization for useless synthetic benchmarks. Design the processors optimized for the me-scenario.

                Too bad that sites like these will keep spamming geekbench scores as some some of universal standard for usefulness. I mean, it's great if your favourite app to run in the morning before work is a benchmark score. Not sure how many that caters to, though.

                  The average user wants a to be able to take nice photo, have the ability to video call/conference, send some SMS & Email, perhaps be able to work away from an office and browse some webpages/social media.

                  They sure as hell aren't gonna be looking at benchmark scores to gauge how quickly instagram will upload their cute pet video.

                      Can we for once stop over reacting/engaging with Benchmark BS? (Arguably) 90% of flagships out there are used for instagramming, youtubing, selfie-ing, blogging, tweeting, messaging, and....what, emailing? Of course, watching videos on Netflix or Hulu.

                      I understand internet traffic is good for business, gsmarena, but discussing "benchmarks"--where it doesn't even matter to average users who simply buy the phone only to devolve to basic usage (heck, probably won't even know there's a developer option and/or how to turn it on, to to tweak their phone's performance/put CPU into overdrive)--doesn't sit well with your credibility. There are multiple ways to keep your website relevant but discussing benchmarks is very 2014/2015. I would be more excited to now what is Google doing to its AI program and what happened since Timnit Gebru and their fallout. That would be more useful to keep up with from a global tech standpoint
