      I love the design of the frame of this device. Sony had a special place in my heart in the past as I did like their mid range devices and some entry level ones. I also like their tweaks in their launchers just as the "ultra" battery save mode which was great as Sony has never been known for applying big batteries in their devices resulting in rather poor autonomy results.
      Another aspect of the design that I very much like is that they refuse to adopt the silly notch designs in whatever shape they come. I don't mind at all having a top bezel that is large enough to house whatever is needed to be housed in it. Now that they reduced it substantially it looks very balanced. I prefer by far this approach compared to the plain ugly water drop notches (except for the U shaped ones which are kind of acceptable) and certainly compared the iPhone notch although this solution was not bad to keep all the tech it must contain.
      Now what I don't like, the ridiculous 21:9 aspect ratio. In the near future we will all need alien like fingers or telescopic ones to be able to reach the full estate of the screen. I don't want a cinema in my pocket, I want a "smart" phone that can do a good mix of all.
      Too me the acceptable ratio was 18:9 to max 19.5:9.

                Next... People aren't camera savy interms of image quality and are biased to enhanced bright pictures

                As we've seen in blind camera test.. and especially how people post on social media

                People rave over iPhone cameras and apple forces it on you

                99% of poeple don't have the time to be enhancing later they want a snap and go

                      Google's Pixel 6 specs are misleading, too. Nowhere do the official specs mention that the 48 megapixel sensor of the tele camera is a Quad Bayer sensor, even though it makes a huge difference whether it's a Quad Bayer sensor or not. I even asked the support and the support couldn't help. It's very likely that it is a Quad Bayer sensor and it seems that Google even ignores the 48 megapixel mode of the sensor.

                        This is what I noticed as well. Very shady advertisement from Sony, I must say, they even state "RESOLUTION 12MP SIZE 1.0-type Exmor RS sensor FOCAL LENGTH 24 mm" under full specification page. Just wow.

It's about the same as 1/1.3" sensors in other flagships (in terms of size). You still get better pixel pitch and probably better optics, but I am still a bit disappointed at this gimmick.

                            This phone (Camera?) is designed for those who know what they are doing when it comes to photography.

                            If you buy this and then just use auto settings to take your photo's, you'll be pretty disappointed. If you use the manual settings, and understand them well, this device will produce images that rival dedicated cameras.

                              So litterary 1800 bucks for Sony phone where Xiaomi does same or beter job for 600 less.
                              Typical Sony must overproice everything.
                              If price of this was 800 instead of 1800 it could be beast.
                              Right now is DOA.

                                        So, the effective sensor area is actually only 69mm² instead of 115mm².
                                        Extreme marketing stunt from Sony. Their website even doesn't seem to mention this in the technical specifications.
