i am using a Huawei mate 20x for more than 3 years. I got the emui 12 update yesterday. Notification panel has changed in a big way. Phone has not slowed at all and working buttery smooth. Love huawei

Note that certain phones will skip EMUI 11 and go from EMUI 10 to 12 directly.

benderzy, 31 Oct 2021I can't believe that y9 Prime 2019 get's EMUI 12,... moreWell they are just not mentioned yet but I am quite confident that at least Y7P would get it(no actual guarantees) as it has the Kirin 710F same as the Y9, and the effort to port it to the Y7P won't be super huge.
For the Y6P, it might not be so concrete as it runs on Mediatek chipset though,(Mediatek Huaweis barely end well in terms of software in history) but still not fully impossible.
