Apple iPhone 13 shortages to continue until February

No shortages for the 1TB Pro version.

That said, the whole package is leaving a lot to be desired (I tried to switch from S21u) --- the Face ID doesn't work with mask, in landscape mode with polarized sunglasses, when a strong light source is behind you, and when the phone lies on the table in front of you -- this is abysmal to say at least. Is Apple too poor to include a simple under-screen fingerprint sensor? And what about AOD - never can find the phone in dark. Tried the to open the Bluetooth Info / General info on Apple Airpods Pro -- this freezes the Settings app. YouTube PiP doesn't tolerate locked screen -- freezes and upon unlock tries to catch up by speeding the video up.

I love the iPad Pro 2021 (and 2020) which is much better than the Galaxy Tab S7 (oled), and the M1 computers are a paradise, so I was expecting the iPhone to have a similar lead on Android, but it's not even close to my S21u (in any department, in fact).

Edit: also the camera opening on iPhone (slide from side of the screen) is very much inferior to the S21u (double-press power button _anytime_) and results to many missed pics bc the phone thinks i want to open the notifications instead. Additionally, the volume up/down buttons are positioned on the wrong side of the device (left) and opposite the lock button on the right side, so they get often pressed by mistake.

    Haven't you noticed how smooth and seamless the zoom over different lenses is with new iPhones compared to Android phones? It's because of that triangular orientation, it means all the lenses are same distance from each other, which make switching between them very smooth.

It is a relevant use case to have a fallback for when the face is covered, and that’s where Apple could just put their TouchID power button from iPad Air into iPhones. I don’t know why they have not done that already

            I’ve been using both iPhone and an Android phone for years. Usability of android is easier for me. The style and durability of iPhone is better. My only comment on iphone is the placement of the lenses at the back especially the triangular orientation. I know the made it as iphone’s identity from afar but lined-lenses is way more elegant for me.

              Apple will sell 230-240M iPhones this year, they are very close to their biggest iPhone sales ever in a year.

              There just isn't relevant rivals on the market now.

A notch is a notch whether its a teardrop, fulldrop or just a punchhole. It's an area in the screen that is basically unusable. I agree that the punchhole looks better aesthetically but I prefer having Face ID and losing a handful more of pixels in an area of the screen that is not really ever used anyway.

                    Also FaceID is useless with masks on, so may aswell use an fingerprint scanner. And i don't know why you worry about how "secure" one is if the normal camera ones can have an option to get improves security but will be slower to read the face.

                        Also the iPhone notch compared to a Punch-hole would look worse since it eats more pixels in that case.
