[deleted post]What exactly is the problem with the first two pictures?

Would be interesting if Gsmarena do a review on this

[deleted post]It's from the Apple site where they sourced the news which doesn't surprise me

Have you held Apple's charging bricks before( especially 3 plugs). They are extremely solid, and I'd say totally worth the price. I see counterfeit and ripoff costs nearly half and their quality is like 20%

Z, 18 Nov 2021This would be good for the consumer, but something tells me... moreIf possible, banned for life lol.

            Rkm, 18 Nov 2021As much as I love this, I have a feeling that there's ... moreLet's just wait n see

What a business strategy, Apple now has the opportunity to sell tool kits at premium prices along with accessories and spares

                    Welcome

Lmao, self service then if you make a mistake then warranty is voided. Ending you'll pay more in a service center.

This would be good for the consumer, but something tells me it's for PR. If this turns out to be a stunt, Apple should be banned from selling hardware.

"Repairing yourself could cost more, but it is better to just buy new product."

It'll be better to allow third party parts and making those clumsy circuits a bit easier rather than selling spares directly to consumer.
Not many people have that much time or skills or are willing to leave their chores/jobs and learn how to repair smartphone

Anonymous, 18 Nov 2021What are you on about? Apple started the irrepairable/break... moreWhat I'm on about is encrypting the parts themselves with DRM so aftermarket ones won't work and sueing 3rd party service shops. I'm not saying other phones are physically easier to repair, but you can at least walk into any repair shop and get your screen/battery/etc. replaced without fearing the device will reject them because of DRM.

Nice publicity stunt apple nice Try.. you guys did this before and it was just a sham on disguise
