      60mm is too small.

You talk about fanboys yet you fanboy over Xiaomi.

And when has Samsung or pixel been a luxury symbol 😂
Maybe to people who think they can flex with a mass market product....nothing special about any phone.

And why would you buy a Xiaomi just to flash a different rom on to it?
Surely if you like Xiaomi enough to buy their device, you'd at least use their official rom.

Honestly, the more I look at these comment sections, the more I believe Realme and Xiaomi are the way to go and so-called "Chinese bloatware" is just propaganda spread by certain fanboys.

Don't like Xiaomi bloatware, go ahead and install a custom ROM, remove bloatware using adb, like I see you guys complaining over and over about having to replace your phone every 2 years yet you keep doing nothing about it. Same with realme, there's android 11 custom ROMs available for it but you're complaining that a $200 phone doesn't have android 12 on day one, I mean what's the big fuss about it lol.

The more I think about it, the more I'm starting to realize Apple/Samsung/Pixel (and especially Apple) phones are only promoted as luxury and premium, not actually luxury and premium. I mean you actually still believe an iPhone makes you rich lmao. It's the very reason why their owners defend it so much in debates against Android phones.

They're not putting 65W chargers, scrap that, they're not putting chargers in the box in the first place for so called "save the earth" reasons. Nobody believes you, you're trying to make an extra buck. No big camera sensors because "they're unoptimized", I mean lol? What kind of excuse is that? Or the lack of a headphone jack because of "WaTeR rEsIsTaNcE"? I say man up and go put a proper quad DAC like Asus did if you want to charge $1000 on a phone. Removing features is now a feature itself? Since when?

For the advancement and harmony of the tech world, it is absolutely necessary for people to stop buying iPhones and Apple products in general, and embrace a new world, where you can service your phone, where your $1000 phone can do everything, where you can keep your phone for 5 years and beyond. There's already alternatives. Xiaomi with custom ROMs, Pinephone, Fairphone, the MoQI I7s console, rugged devices like Ulefone Armor 10 and others.

When we come back to phones slimmer than 60mm width, then you can talk about compact.

And the release date must br in August as usual and availability in September in most markets. Who can wait like this? I didn’t buy pixel 6 this year due to it’s annoying size.

No headphone jack on another midranger again, thanks google. I'll change the battery on my old phone and keep it.

A bunch of pre-installed apps like Facebook or Amazon prime or Netflix that can be easily uninstalled or disabled can't qualify as bloat.
A phone that costs 1/3rd the price is embarrassing your overpriced iphone.
Tier 2 operating system like ios will always remain beneath Android.

I was looking forward to the iPhone 13 series.
So I went into the store only to find the 13 pro Max too wide, heavy and bulky overall.
The 13 pro on the other hand was compact but had a smaller screen which was a big "NO".

So even when one is ready to pay 1000$ on a phone, you can't have a phone with big screen which is also relatively more on the compact and lighter side on the ios platform.
The s21 ultra and Mi 11 Ultra were equally on the bulkier side in comparison to the 13 pro Max. This is why I went with the Vivo X70 Pro Plus. Got Earphones, premium back cover, fast charger, all inisde the box.
