Alpha, 24 Nov 2021Why would anyone want a Galaxy over Xperia lol? Well let's see:

      1. Less bloatware
      2. Better options on caring for the battery (Samsung's One UI 4 finally copied Sony on this)
      3. MicroSD card slot
      4. Headphone jack
      5. Front-facing stereo speakers
      6. Aspect ratio that makes more sense for movies and gaming
      7. Natural photos vs overly processed colors of anti-reality

Not going to say the Xperia is perfect, but much better for my needs than the Galaxy.

AnonD-994853, 24 Nov 202190% people of the world would. Not all people takes photos ... moreManual mode just makes sure setting used are ones you want.
It does not change the amount of noise reduction and sharpening used, the colours etc.

We are 5 weeks away from 2022 and people here still think that only correct and good photography exists when you use HDR.

Galaxy with 2 photos apps = " OMG, thank you Samsung. "

Excellent sensors ? Someone seriously thinks he will become a pro-Photoshop image editor with those tiny sensors ? Endless times I buy those expensive devices to see that their image quality is pure sh*t. RAW or not.

I think It's Samsung direct answer to new Sony smartphone with their great photography hardware and applications

Not interesting, only when they start doing 'Pro' mode for video then that would be worth talking about.

This sounds nice. I just returned the Pixel 6 Pro, 3rd party apps can't save periscope dng files from the Pixel 6 Pro.

In my opinion, gsmarena should compare the manual mode image quality from phones (manually exposing for the highlights with each phone).

As a current Xperia owner, well done Samsung. Long overdue.

Still won't get any of their flagships but glad to see them take on pro photography; a supposedly niche concept.

Still no access for video on both tele lens.
Although there is a solution with mcpro24fps app on S21U (with host name changed).
