CCE, 24 Nov 2021In RAW just hope you have enough space, no SD-card on this S21Maybe limited to 12MP, which would be files of 22-25MB.
Raw from 108MP would be much more than 100MB.

What is disappointing about this app is that 'RAW' doesn't actually mean 'RAW'
There's still heavy processing going in to the file. I want genuine RAW data so that I can decide what my photo's need.

This is exactly what Panasonic does with their 📷 to avoid banding under artificial light.
Panasonic S1 uses imx410. Same sensor used by Nikon Z6/Z6ii, Sony A7iii and Sigma fp.

1) it helps a lot to avoid blur when shutter is slow. Not helps a bit
2) OIS is useless for video.

Using pro mode on smartphones is slow and pictures are still not good lol. That's why most people treat smartphones as a point and shoot camera. But, there are some weirdos who think their smartphone is a pro-grade camera.

Like Pro-i has imx506, like Aquos R6.
It is based on RX100 7 sensor, not the same used by the cybershot. People got it wrong. Even on sony website you see info "based on rx100 7 sensor".
Pro is different case. It is not just for regular costumers, but also created for broadcasting companies to do field work.
In 2019, the prototype was used by NBC to broadcast Texans x Patriots using Verizon network.
I would not be surprised if Pro in the end has more sales than 1 and 5 series in USA.

I hope that Google learns from that. People think that Google improves the camera with updates, but this isn't really the case. Lightroom doesn't support the Pixel 6 Pro, 3rd party apps can't save dng files with the 16mm and 103mm cameras and the stock camera app doesn't let you choose the exposure time or analog gain.

Also, I live in the US which is why I ask for that. The vanilla Xperia Pro had mmWave so it's not like Sony doesn't know we use it here. If it means charging $50 more than global variants, I'd get it to future-proof the phone's connectivity since I like to keep my phone for longer if possible.
