They might have killed the Note lineup specifically, but if you do your research you'll see that they've actuality merged the Note with the Galaxy S Series. So the S22 Ultra that's being released next year (along with the rest of the S series) is technically the next Note. And it's by far the best looking Note to date.

People crying over this clickbait article need to realize its a business decision that makes sense for Samsung. By now, we have seen that the upcoming S22 ultra is practically a renamed note phone so calm your tits, the Note has never left.
Besides, most people shouting not to remove the Note didnt buy their last Note phone anyway.

For me you can never compare foldable to Note. Note is very classy and compete with Apple Pro Max now the foldables are weak and will never buy them. I will rather go to Apple as much as I have been a loyal customer of Samsung for decades. Wrong move Samsung.

Ardent user of Note series ever since its first release. Fold and Flip is different form factor and statement. Diesr really like the newer series. Will keep using note for at least 3 years as it has the punch to last for a while.

Foldables are the new Note. people should learn to accept that. I remember a time when people criticized the Note for the most ridiculous stuff and now it's happening to Foldables today.

[deleted post]Totally agree, Note 4 & Note 9 are the best. I want my spen to be in the case of my phone not laying around somewhere I'm going to lose it. One of Notes features I truly love. I went from a Note 4 to a 9 because I felt 5 wasn't enough of an upgrade for the price. 7 well it never got anywhere. 8 didn't have a SD slot & I love being able to have additional space. It did have the 3.5 jack, but no SD slot keep me from buying it. Along comes the Note 9, with all my favorite aspects, so I got one. As did the rest of my family. Now they're not going to make the series, which I think is a mistake.
So I'll keep my 9 until there's something comparable or has a touch screen that I can use nails on. Because I'm horrible typing with fingers. Always hitting the wrong key & fixing mistakes, until I get my spen out. I use it constantly.

I wonder how many people who express their disgust here are actually going and purchasing galaxy note year after year. Of course they were not selling well that’s why they are stopped. If you are concerned fund the project and make a note like device yourself.

I have always been a fan of the Note series since Note 3 but I hated the fact that there are other "Note" models from other manufactures. I got the S21 Ultra this year due to rumors of no Note model this year and while it supports the S-Pen, it definitely is not a note! I even the S-Pen case but it does not integrate like a Note does - for instance, it does not know that you remove the pen.
If the Ultra line of the S series is to become the new Note line (with built-in S-Pen) and I can get it earlier in the year, then I'm in!
The S21 Ultra is almost there but it has to have the S-Pen built-in to make trully a Note replacement.
I have not used the microSD slot for quite a while now as I have migrated to the cloud with 1TB storage in. I had a few corrupted data issues in the past with removable storage - both microSD and external hard drives that I don't miss them anymore.
512GB is plenty enough for me for now, I could have been fine getting the 256GB model. They should make 1TB available in the future - 256GB, 512GB, 1TB sounds like nice options.

Samsung is competing with apple on who can torment their customers more.
Year old note9, a week after an update the device started heating up, eventually developed the green screen issue - later i discovered that it is a known issue and samsung doesn't take any responsibility - they want you to replace a screen. Absurd! (Not to mention that those are perhaps the most expansive non-foldable screens)

Why samsung prefer discontinue the galaxy note series than the fold series? The fold screen so weak than the ordinary screen. Samsung should kill the fold than the note instead!
