Perhaps it was overshadowed by the HTC HD2 that launched only months later. Or perhaps the 1 GHz CPU and 4.1" display were just gimmicks.

    We have hit a barrier in terms of clock speeds and performance gains

    In a Decade we have barely tripled across the cores.

    Have to wait for photonic processors for real speed gains but that's atleast 30 years away.
