Redmi Note 10 Pro : 52 minutes for 80% doesn't clash with 30 minutes 59%, it actually matches pretty well that you get ~60% in the first 30 minutes and the additional ~20% in the ~20 next minutes considering charging time in terms of mAh per seconds/minutes goes down as the battery get filled.

Anonymous, 20 Dec 202111t pro full charge 17 minutes Not really, even this vid whose title claims through a question "Full charge in 17 mins?" actually show it is around 80% at 17 minutes :
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFDbVlj34pk
        https://youtu.be/oFDbVlj34pk?t=343

Note how at the end it gets stuck for a while at 99%, it isn't calibrated, probably one of its first charge ever, clearly it wasn't at 99% real percent, and this actually get still get a better figure than the 24 minutes for indicated 100% of the DXOMARK test.

Yes, there are many wars like that, RAM size, megapixel, camera count, display resolution, display refresh rate, sadly none try the "best user satisfaction/expectation meet" war, which would be a win-win.

One thing we should have by default is a healthy overnight mode and kept plugged mode.

I mean, who use the phone when they sleep? Rather than having it kill the battery, a healthy, slow and controlled charge that match the alarm clock would be much better.

Same for keeping smartphones, tablets and even laptops plugged continuously, I've got a Samsung tablet that I use as a side display with a launcher app (Touch Portal, an app version of the Stream Deck), and rather than tearing it down to remove the battery, I rooted it and installed an app (battery charge limit) that I've set to stop the charge at 60% and get start again at 40%, but we should have an option to keep something at 50% (long term storage charge) and only power the device through the USB.

I have used 33W and it's really convenient and i imagine 45W is even better. However I do think 100w etc is mostly bullshit and affects battery. I think they did do 65W with dual battery so i think that's ideal but idk if it's better for battery too. 33-45w is the sweet spot

Man, they should really pick up the pace.
Yeah no doubt, their folding design is heavily inspired by Moto Razr. Sure, they made far better folding mechanism but the idea is same.
It's also obvious since Oppo did not even patented/showcased/hinted the hinge design. No one in their right mind would believe that they were working on this hinge design for 4 years.

Oppo sat in the back seat watch... moreSo using the large bending radius to fold the display = automatically "heavily inspired by Razr"? Without even taking the hinge design into an account (heck, Razr doesn't really have a "hinge" in the first place - it's a pair of small pins holding two halves of the phones together)?

Scram, 20 Dec 2021Dude, you can choose to disagree with my assertion. Sof... more"Color OS on Android 12 is a dumpster fire, you should read the reviews"
I'm very certain that you're talking about OxygenOS 12 (whose recent initial release was bug-ridden) and not ColorOS. In fact, I hear little complaints regarding ColorOS in general - both in real life who use Oppo devices as well as on the internet. If I buy a new phone next year, it will most likely be an Oppo flagship as ColorOS is much less "quirky" compared to, let's say, MIUI, and quite similar to Android skins I'm used to in terms of general appearance.

And yes, before you ask me, I'd been using OneUI and EMUI on S10 and P30 respectively for more than 2 years, and now iOS for about a week now (on iPhone 13 Pro, which I bought recently to replace my aging S10). OneUI was a very powerful skin and the latest version of it had been very stable when I was using one as well, so I fully understand your strong preference over OneUI.

I still do disagree about Find N being "bang average" given some of its unique upsides and the attractive pricing, but I guess we can agree to disagree and call it a day. Find N does not meet your need, so you don't have a lot of reason to buy it. On the other hand, I find the crease and the UDC on Fold 3 quite distracting and find Oppo's solution more elegant hardware-wise, but we're both entitled to our opinions.

Samsung doesn’t have smaller phones like iPhone mini and SE that is one of the reason people are missing small android metal bodies.
I used Samsung galaxy j 7 pro . Loved that now there is no replacement in that category.

solided, 20 Dec 2021The specs of A52s combined with S10e form factor = beastSee, this makes total sense. Don't make a flagship compact but a mid-range compact with decent cameras, big enough battery, LTPO, stereo speakers, headphone jack, microSD card slot, and IP67 minimum for at least $100 less than the A52. I get money/sales are involved but if we're making all these A series models, I don't see why this idea wouldn't work.
