- Downgrading the charging speed that was already high on their previous flagship. Also no included charger.
- The S21 non-Ultra got downgraded on display resolution, design, and camera. Making them look like S20 and force you to buy Ultra instead.

AFAIK, Samsung did not release a mid-range tablet under 11 inch in 2021. The S7 FE is 12.4 inch. Wait until next year or buy a Surface Go or regular iPad.
The Xiaomi Pad 5 is an awkward device. The Samsung A8 has a microSD slot, optional cellular, 3.5mm jack, satellite navigation; but the Pad 5 has none of those. Chinese manufacturers are ruining the tech scene with their ridiculous compromises.

Loser: mid level tablets, there's nothing below 11 inches that is worth buying, nothing even slightly coming close to a Xiaomi Pad 5... The new A8 is abysmal.

Remember the Royole FlexPai that tried to beat Samsung to the punch with their foldable? The Chinese manufacturers would have pushed hard if there was a way to undermine Samsung's foldables. There isn't.
Xiaomi is producing scooters. Oppo is producing TVs. Huawei is producing water bottles. They aren't staying out of the market because they signed a non-compete agreement with Samsung, they're out because they can't compete. Samsung has been begging them to get in with good deals on their class-leading display.
They probably were hoping that Samsung will launch a no-crease hinge, flagship penta-camera, 65W fast charging, 3rd-gen Under Display Camera, IP68, 4500mAh, 4K resolution foldable; price it at upwards of $2000. Then they can release a Fold 3 clone with the exact same compromises, release it for same price as the Fold 3 or $100-$200 less; the tech community calls them innovative and geniuses; and they steal Samsung's thunder after they'd been working on foldable tech for 10 years.
This is why when the usual suspects try to make the crease or cameras a bigger deal than they are, I mock them. I'll like to see Oppo upgrade the Find N2 next year with 5000mAh battery, dust protection, stylus and wireless PC dock support, 12/256GB starting configuration, same camera setup as the Mi Ultra 12, 120W charging; then price it $300 less than the Find N (like Samsung did with the Fold 3).

I do agree that there are drawbacks in each product and a lack of sd card slot isn't acceptable but think all those who worked for the product we need to give everyone thier time to prove themselves. Products are manufactured for our comfort sir not to meet our expectations

I'm waiting for the vanilla S22. If it'll come with glass back panel - I'm surely won't buy it. I don't want to worry about repairs that cost like another new phone. Whole aluminum - of course - would better but somehow producers these days thinks that somebody asked for wireless charging.

I switched from Apple Watch which really barely lasted 12 hours and now I'm more than happy. With always on display, load of notifications and ~2 hours of GPS trainings- ~32-34 hours without charge - easy.

why is glass back bad thing again? I sure love fragile glass sandwhich that can break at any time and on the slightest drop/hit. besides 98% of people uses some sort of cheap $1 case anyway, so whatever the material is meaningless, but glass still breaks very easily, and makes repairability much harder too.
