Software is very important to me and Samsung has had 3 years with OneUI + Good Lock on the Fold. The crease does not bother me; like the notch on my iPhone does not. Would I prefer no crease and no notch? Sure. But Oppo cannot give me the total package that Samsung or Apple can; that's a fact!
I'm a Note user who upgraded to the Fold 3. No stylus support on a phone/tablet hybrid is a non-starter for me. Add that to the obvious gap Oppo would have to close in software. Color OS on Android 12 is a dumpster fire, you should read the reviews. While the Fold 3 is well on its way to getting an excellent upgrade to OneUI 4, then 12L and 2 more updates.
This is why I called the Find N average. Most folks have been predicting the trouncing of Samsung Foldables. First it was the Razr, then it was the Mate X/2, then Xiaomi Mix Fold, now it's the Find X that Oppo won't sell outside China because it wouldn't be able to compete with the Fold 3 in the international market.

The Oppo Find N will not be released outside of China. Wonder why?
Samsung Foldables are the iPhones of foldables for now. They don't need to include every feature under the sun; they just need to offer a near-complete package with must-have features and excellent software.
And when Samsung eventually upgrades the hinge, they'd replace it with one that eliminates the crease, has better durability, and better ingress protection. I'm actually impressed that Samsung is taking the slow approach; others can push tech and drive component prices down. Later on, Samsung can add the tech at lower cost.

Even Samsung's 45W wired charging is already more than fast enough. Superfast charging makes a lot of sense when you have a large battery capacity like a tablet with 10,000mAh or more, but for a smartphone with around 4,000mAh to 5,000mAh battery? Why bother with something like 120W charging. It only generates more and more heat and kills the battery life expectancy even futher.

So agree with the S21 and S21+ under the 'Loser' category. Even the S20 and S20+ still looks like a much better buy than the S21 and S21+.

If you have room for 15 useless cameras, then you have room for the SD card slot as well!
PS The Plus version of the S series is now trash with only FHD resolution.

I don't understand why is everyone fancying ultra fast charging speeds, considering that you'd have to pay more for proprietary or more powerful stuff.
Also the M and F series should be loser this year. Besides F62/M62 everything else are just A series rebadges for barely any cheaper than those, and not even a single one of them comes with a battery larger than 5000 mAh.

Samsung should do 2 sizes of the S Ultra phones, with atleast 1inch difference between the two size. The smaller S Ultra, could be called the Ultra Mini, like the S22 Ultra and S22 Ultra Mini.

Noone forces anyone to use the turbo charge cable.
I have a mi 11 ultra with 66w charge speed, sometimes i just need it to be done and i use the turbo cable, most days i use a fast cable and some days the slow cable...
So fact is Samsung is behind on this.

I don't see the point to argue that having only 25W of charging power should be a disadvantage. It's fast enough, certainly when phones like the Samsung ones don't have huge batteries. I'm still not convinced that all those superfast charging blocks out there are good for battery longevity. We're still speaking about Lithium batteries who tend to burst in flames if charged too intensely or increased risk on having them short circuit. These days I see mainly Chinese phones bragging about incredible charging speeds but in parallel they only have rather small batteries by today's standards (between 4 and 5000 mAh.). Instead of doing such foolish gimmicks they should focus everything on power efficiency and minimal power consumption while keeping or even improving performance. Another silly aspect of these hyperfast chargers is that they all are so humongously huge that I can't imagine someone taking this on a trip. They are clearly no travel chargers which is kind of silly as you would think that being on a trip (business or pleasure) you would not want to lose time waiting for your phone to be charged what would be the case with a 10 or 18W charger.

Color OS is a joke... moreColor OS is very well optimised for phones, though Find N being the first "tablet" for them means their skin may still have some quirks to iron out on it (although Android 12L will probably change the awful app issues surrounding Android tablets in general). And I'd honestly rather have a combination of the relatively creaseless inner display that does not have a crippled selfie camera and the outer display with a more conventional aspect ratio at a cheaper price.

I disagree. It's a great first-gen product, both well designed and well priced. It's not objectively the best foldable tablet out there, but good enough to give Samsung and other companies pressure to put more efforts on foldable in the future.
