Evlo, 08 Dec 2021Yea, I don't understand at all why pop out/up camera d... moreI share the same feelings man, no it wasn't prone to breaking, didnt you see those ads showing the pop-up part being used to lift heavy weights and they were rated for 200,000 plus movements, which easily surpassed 3+ years even on the Find X which literally used it every time for unlocking that beautiful phone.
Most of this "MoViNg PaRtS = wOrSe DuRaBiLiTy" agenda was spread by these stupid *techtubers*, yet these same people don't give the same shit about the foldables which cost a lot more and the "moving part" could literally render the most important thing (the display), USELESS!! Whereas as with those awesome pop-up phones, at most it would render the camera useless and you could still use the phone for everything else!

      Realme is oppo? Will it have QI? I don't understand what was so wrong with pop up camera, but this is at least removes the hole.

        *My Poco F2 Pro looks exactly the same.
        *It can't spy on me through the front camera without me knowing.
        *The selfie quality isn't crappy.
        *Face recognition work properly.
        *It doesn't have any "MoViNg PaRtS/WeAr" issues (bought used).
        *And its pop-up tech didn't require 3 years of R&D to endup making a sub performing tech as it worked fine first try.

        UDC will soon become mainstream and there will be no other options, and smartphones price will go up by 200$/€ to 300$/€ once the tech is unavoidable and it will be time for the cost of the years of R&D to be covered.
