I unknowingly did the mistake of updating to OOS 12 (thought it was just another security patch) and it's been terrible, filled with bugs.

For instance, I only get notifications for a handful of apps while the rest just won't show on the status bar; the phone refuses to keep auto rotate on after a while; the screen turns on for no reason, etc.

If I weren't so lazy and my phone were out of warranty I'd already move to a custom rom

Legacy of oneplus ended right now with android 12.. It was the only chinese brand which was a bit different.. They should’ve went the route” if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it”

It's a shame how Oneplus ruined oxygen OS...
I think OneUI is the best interface in android world

Thanks for the update. So in other words sell your device and move on . I will see my oneplus straight away on a marketplace

Anonymous, 09 Dec 2021Yeah, they're just oppo now. What a disgrace. It started with Oneplus 2 when they left users in the dark with no updates, no security patches...nothing. No matter how much people complained in their forums, they let everything in silence and moved on. Then in Oneplus 5 (i still have mine) they promised one last update Android 10 in "a few months". We waiting almost a full year and when they finally came out with an update, it was half baked, bugs and worse, they removed features that came originally with the phone like video stabilization despite insisting that stabilization was there. It wasn't. They purposefully removed it so they forced people to update, buy new devices. Disgraceful. Oneplus no more.

                Yeah, they're just oppo now.

How OnePlus has fallen what a disgrace

They are lucky they have bbk as life support

I remember how OnePlus fanboys would brag about oxygen OS

                  Now theyve gone quiet

Remember back in June 2021, yes 6 months ago, when OnePlus said they'd be sticking with Oxygen OS. It appears that was meant in name only. This looks almost identical to RealmeUI on my Q3 Pro.

I an selling my OnePlus 9 immediately, this is the worst update ever. I did a factory reset in hopes of fixing some of the bugs, no help. First and last OnePlus phone.
