So, I really wonder, I was waiting for 12 or 12X to be a bit more compact in terms of length dept, but I admit, still a good size phone. But, with that pricing (almost 500$ for 12X), wouldnt it be much more practical to buy an S21 vanilla model? Yes, it has plastic body BUT it has One UI, water resistant body, slightly less capacity battery but wireless charging, variable refresh rate 40-120Hz Full HD+ screen and flat screen. I am in between those cuz a new S21 is around 450-500$ range where I live. In terms of performance, I dont think SD 870 is much more different than Exynoss 2100 in terms of daily usage..

With all that CPU horsepower, crazy AI, software optimization there's just no need dedicated camera for portrait. Which btw, I don't know a person using it

Shadocx, 28 Dec 2021I assume you're talking about the price today with pri... moreThe official price of the mi11 pro now for the last couple of months is 3699rmb for 8gb 128gb and 3999rmb for 8gb 256gb for 3,999rmb (exactly the same as the Xiaomi 12). This is the relevant price as that's what it cost if you buy direct from Xiaomi. It is actually available cheaper if you get it from third party retailers. Anyway, it has a 5x periscope lens too apart from the stronger main sensor. The Xiaomi 12 is also using a CSOT/Huaxing fhd+ screen which is obviously a big downgrade. The Xiaomi 12 is still okish in price but the worst one is the Xiaomi 12x. That is ridiculously overpriced compared to the competition. I think they went with Sony for the fast shutter as that is supposedly the highlight of the phones. Personally, I like the imx766 but they could have surely given a better ultrawide (no upgrade from the mi11 and mi10).
