Anonymous, 05 Jan 2022Make money means other companies will see them as a success... moreThat's not even remotely true.

One, bugs remain until the next iOS release and then largely forgotten.
Two, less and less support from 3rd parties because they need certification/authorisation from Apple and Apple won't give it.
Three, Apple hasn't released any first gen products in a while and the closest was the M1 Macs which haven't been a runaway success.
Four, I don't know much about this one because I don't sell my phones for security reasons. You sell your iPhone and buy an Android phone? Or do you trade it in for a new iPhone?

beep bop boop, 05 Jan 2022That's a lot of money Theoretical money. It's all a big scam: banks land money that they don't have, companies value trillions but there's nobody to buy them and if you make an inventary it's all under 5 billions.

One, any bugs will be quickly discovered and squashed.
Two, tons of support from third party.
Three, no worries for going into their first gen products, because soon other company or people will follow.
Four, no worries if you need to sell.

Trapping their user in their ecosystem
Making their product hard to repair and expensive genuine parts which forces you to buy new one
Not replacing Lightning ports with USB-C
IAP prices are more expensive than other App Stores

No wonder Apple make profits faster than their tech

          That's a lot of money

Fixargeddon13, 05 Jan 2022Good for them. Now they can return 3.5mm jacks, and sd card... moreNo chance of that, lol. Future iPhones may not even come with a charging cable, sim tray ejector pin or retail box.

story will be different if china ban this brand and they will never get this number end up in last phone market share. just like Huawei

Good for them. Now they can return 3.5mm jacks, and sd card slots.

IpsDisplay, 04 Jan 2022The pillars of apples business is as follows: Being shad... moreTrapping people in a ecosystem - Again, that is something iphones users say to get droid fanatics to hush up. iphone users are willing participants in apple's system. They believe Apple offers the best experience and there is a trust there. A familiarity.

Buying $1000 phones every year - I don't know anyone that does this. My cousin and co-worker both upgraded to the iphone 11 this year. My cousin had a iphone 7 with a broken screen for as long as I can remember. His wife upgraded to a 13 so he took her 11. My co-worker had a iphone 8. She reluctantly upgraded. Those are real people. Not figures, percentages or assumptions.

I am one of the few people that upgrades almost yearly and I'm a droid user. Since 2015 I've had 7 phones. Everyone praises android because it offers choice but IMO it's a double edged sword. 1st, brand loyalty is not as strong. 2nd, choice can leave consumers confused especially when manufacturers can't distinguish their items from the competition. Choice works for entry level and midrange android phones because the financial commitment is minimum. It doesn't work for higher priced phones because no one wants to have buyers remorse over a $800-1400 phone.

Brand value is going higher and higher and it will increase more mirror selfies from iphones😂

Samsung not only has great ecosystem of mobile consumer products (phone, tablet, computer, smartwatch, etc) but also great smart home ecosystem (AC, SmartRefrigerator, SmartTV, Vacuum cleaner, SmartLamp, etc.).

I believe Apple still dont have imagination about multi integrity smarthome ecosystem yet, meanwhile Samsung user is already living in the future.

                                  Android makers only make phones.
Google make the software, and lousy phones.
Microsoft make software, computers and consoles.

Apple make software, makes phones, tablets, computers.

Thats why they are top. Everyone goes Apple if they need all their tech needs.
