Anonymous, 05 Jan 2022No way the G100 uses a 7 years old chipset, this has to be wrongEven Qualcomm don't produce this chip anymore, may be it's a SD675

R...Hunter, 05 Jan 2022Don't know why people are so agitated? Nokia is making... moreDon't really know about other countries in LATAM but in Colombia Where I Live, not a single person that I know or I've seen is using Nokia. Mostly samsung, apple and Xiaomi devices. There are other brands of course like Motorola, Vivo, TCL, etc... but they're just not that common.

Akashraj, 05 Jan 2022Redmi 6A launched with Mediatek A22 in 2018 for around 100$... morebecause there is still Nokia name on it, if it gonna be HMD yeah they will died in 1 week.

Redmi 9 with G80 is around $120 you also get 3 years software support.

Why can't they use 750g 5g at least, cameras are not that important, display not too big, somewhere in the range 5.8-6.5, 6G ram, 4 years of security updates.
I'd buy this for a reasonable price.
Samsung has AMOLED displays that are not that great for my eyes and I don't want to buy a chinese brand. Only option is Nokia or Apple

This is chip used by 2015 phones.

AnonD-1018516, 05 Jan 2022Do you know why they fail? First, they are overpriced. Look... moreOf course, there were lots of factors leading to LG's fail. It just doesn't feel right when brands like HMD global is surviving.

What is Nokia doing exactly, when will they stop producing this garbage called phone we are in 2022 for fuck sake, they should learn from motorola or xiaomi

The G100 comes with the SD615 chip?! Even my Moto from 2019 comes with the SD632... Something isnt right here, that chip is at least 5+ years old

Snapdragon 615? That's a chipset from 2014!!

An0n, 05 Jan 2022It's wrong. It should be SD 662, then again, who cares... moreIā€˜d care because if they did that, that would truly be special (not in a positive way of course because the SD 615 was bad and overheated)

AnonD-1018516, 05 Jan 2022Do you know why they fail? First, they are overpriced. Look... morebtw i mean *disadvantage, not advantage

  • AnonD-1018516

There is no way a 2022 smartphone would use a 2014 chipset.

SD 615 (2015) is older than HMD (2017) themselves
