a) longest software support of all Android vendors (3 major updates + 1 year of security updates only) on nearly all devices except lowest end models below A50 series which get just 2 years in general
b) releases monthly security updates even ahead of Google's own Pixel phones as they pull security patches from Google's repository and push them out faster than Google itself does. And they don't skip a single month, unlike basically entire industry where they release security updates with 1-2 months delay and only do it every few months at best.
Samsung may do stupid things with chipsets for regions and other questionable decisions like copying Apple about dumb things like removing charger and using plastic backs on super expensive phones, but they are anything but bad when it comes to software support. They are literally the best in the industry right after Apple which takes all that and extends the period of support and has no regional seeding nonsense. So, yeah don't talk trash about Samsung if you don't even understand the facts.

So that special coating on the glass element inside the lens helps make better 12mp photos as end result.
Native 108MP is not possible. If you want 108 photo and if that is possibe it will be upscaled from the 12MP end result like all these pixel binning sensors do. There is no other way as this is just the way these sensors work. THey dont photograph in 108MP. they gather information in 108 mp, but the one pixel does another job then the other etc, until 1 pixel is created that has all RGB information. Only that can be technically seen as a full pixel. btw 108 MP is 9 pixels to 1 binning. 4 to 1 binning is more common (48, 50, 64mp models)

Samsung's biggest issue is it's processing of photos, not the hardware. If you use gcam on a Samsung phone, the resolved detail is way better than the stock canera app. Same for Sony, excellent hardware but lousy computational photography software. They have not even maxed out the hardware using the current software, all this is just marketing fluff.

Doubtful to make a noticeable or meaningful difference in most cases. Hopefully exposure and hdr if anything.
The biggest difference will probably be more heavily processed photos to market a sensor that's nearly identical as being better.
