06 January 2022
The previously rumored redesign has been delayed until 2024!

And they're wondering why Samsung is selling so many Flip3 phones the factory can't keep up.

It would be a shame for apple, if the battery life remains the same so am expecting an upgrade in battery capacity and maybe a slightly thicker phone too.

Concerning that its getting 5g, thats meant to be a big battery draw and battery life isnt exactly stellar on the 2020 SE. Most people who buy the new SE wont even care about 5G, they should have given it an oled and night mode kept everything else the same.

People commenting here often forget that we all are essentially nerds and constitute only about 3% of the population. People spending money on Apple products. are showing thereby what THEY LIKE. The sales figures don't lie.

So, not something I want to buy.

Something the size of the original SE or iPhone, with all screen, and 50mp, would be preferable. A more expensive tri horizontal fold even better.

Something from 2016. Why is the iPhone 8 chosen as the benchmark for this particular design while it's really the iPhone 7? And before it the iPhone 6 just slightly different.

kek, 07 Jan 2022You are wrong, actually. Large phones are worse for your ey... moreFont size doesn't matter for watching videos. Just get a large screen phone. You will be happy.

At that point they are not only greedy, but making a joke out of the people who will buy this. Making a phone in 2022 with the design from 2017 which is almost the same with the design from 2014(iPhone 6). If this isn't peak Apple, I don't know what it is.

i guess they bought 100 000 000 of these panels back in 2015 for 3 bucks apiece and now is the time to make the big money of ancient hardware. they wont throw them away i am sure, as long as people buy them

Fair enough. Many still love the iPhone 8 design, and this strategy actually helps keep iPhone values high even in the second hand market to.Apple have found their product mix.Interesting that they iPhone SE cheap as it is doesn’t touch the sales of the iPhone Pro Max Range which continually is in the Top 5 best sellers globally, seems most iPhone users either want the standard iPhone of the generation or the Pro Max iPhone of the generation.

It's because apples want to insult people for not buying expensive 13's

I actually love that old design, not sure why though. If the battery life gets an upgrade (which I seriously doubt), I could see myself getting one of these.

If it is a 5g phone then battery should be at least 3000mah. It will be difficult to place a battery with that much mah in a phone with a size as that of iphone se 2020.

                                    *2016.

The iPhone 8 is just a spec-bumped iPhone 7, which is from 2016. I get *why* Apple is using such an outdated design, but I'm honestly sick of people claiming that they are going with this old design because "there is a market for it". They're not. They're just reusing old designs because its cheaper. Stop pretending like this is some kind of genius move. This design is old and dated and we've seen much better design for much less money.

SE 2022 is the new mini
