For a tool guy like myself, I like a space for touching and I like a space for viewing. It's kind of nice to keep them separate. With a touch screen, unless you're in a clean room 24/7, you're bound to get the screen dirty AND smudgy. Then again, even in a clean room, your fingers still get greasy, so....

I can't wait to get my greasy calloused hands on one of these (at least, the keypad part). \(^.^)/

i can't stand touchscreen only phones, maybe touchscreen in combination with the 9 number keys and other function keys, but touchscreen only phones, you can't do anything without looking at the screen, which is very doable with my old nokia 3120

i think these phones do not need touch screen, since other companies such as apple and htc are already doing that for the rest of the world. A true smart, sophisticated, and rich phone does not need touch screen, just having the name of nokia speaks for itself.

What should I consider ?! Nokia E71 or RIM 9000 Bold ? Is Nokia laging behind ? Still no touch screen, Qwerty kb is just making its presence after RIM etc etc. What is so innovative nowadays with Nokia mobile phones ? The only thing I can think of, is the N95 screen.

All I can say is that " I hate the designs"
I know it's thin but it's quite big. The N-series designs are much better...
                        -refering to the E71

I agree the icons don't look too good, I hope there's a way to change the theme or icon style. But these are two very good phones by Nokia who I feel have not been designing many good phones recently...

Xperia will be much slower and have less specs. P5 looks a bit cheap for my liking and also has less specifications despite the camera. I bet it won't be able to do VGA recording...

As for the iphone- don't make me laugh!

Just when I thought I had lost faith in Nokia's new design direction, they come up with some really stylish, good-looking handsets! Although it's a shame they're part of the E-Series - it will mean the mp3 player wont be as good as my current N-Series device.

can i know which phones is better then n95?

n95 camera is equip with cmos sensor.
video recording in 30fps with VGA quailty which 95% of the mobile cant even do that.
support multi tasking, can most of the mobile minimize like what window can do? hmmmm?
wifi, hspda, support almost all types of connection.
                                        3.5mm audio jack
                                        GPS
and one thing to highlight, N95 Announced almost 2 years ago but the phone's function is still one of the best right now.
