The Google Pixel Notepad will have a Tensor chip, but inferior cameras to the Pixel 6 Pro.

abysswag, 25 Jan 2022Sundar Pichai please ping from your real accountI wish I was Sundar.P ... I had Google phones since the Google Nexus line, and I never had a major issue with them. Maybe a software bug from time to time, but nothing to affected my experience at all. I also had 3 Samsung galaxy ( galaxy note 7 , note 8 and S20 plus) With 2 out of 3 Samsung I had hardware problem. With the Samsung note 7 I had the well known battery issues , and my S20 plus was getting really hot in my pocket without even using it ; also the camera was rubbish. So after thae experience with the note 7 ; I decided to sell the S20 plus after 5-6 months. No more samsung for me.

I wish LG didn't call it quits. The rollable screen would have been nice and I probably would've bought the upcoming v80 with second screen. Much more practical and durable than the folding screen.

                Made by Oppo

Nexus One, 25 Jan 2022Might get this but we'll see. Just to own a book form ... moreI think that Oppo wants to see just how well-received their foldable smartphone. There's also the reason of chip shortage that forced Oppo to make the Find N in a limited batch, but that's just my guess.

If Google going to take on Oppo Find N, I don't mind having a 19:9 or 19.5:9 outer screen. That is still a right balance for smartphone aspect ratio to me.

Like with every folding phone zero inner screen durability means worth maybe 14 not 1400 bucks.

Might get this but we'll see. Just to own a book form factor. Oppo is making a big mistake making their Find N exclusive to China. Would rather wait for this Pixel Notepad then. At least it will be available in my country.

"The main camera will be the tried-and-tested 12.2MP IMX363 sensor from the Pixel 2"
That's not the sensor of the Pixel 2.

I'm up for Google if eventually coming with fold or Note pad but the timing isn't by their side many OEMs would have come on board earlier than Google. Nevertheless I would wait for reasonable competitors and compare the prices with average of $1200 😎😀

Google's normal phone have so much bugs .. Cant imagine the amount of bugs on this device

Can you imagine the massive amount of quality control issues at the hard ware level from something as delicate as a foldable

                                  FROM GOOGLE!!! OF ALL COMPANIES

The goat, 25 Jan 2022Waste of moneyall folds and flips are a huge waste of money.

Nice one. I would buy this

ughhh fix your Pixel phones first, and why another weak Tensor CPU? nowhere close to SD 888 performance.
