Since the majority of these folding phones have their screens made by Samsung, it appears that the next round of Samsung folding phones will have more surprised in store. Maybe 2 versions of each, even lower price points, and slightly wider outer screen for the Fold 4(?).

Would love to see foldable grow even more. It took almost forever for foldables to actually be usable.

If it has the same software support from XDA community like other pixels, then am in! 🙋‍♂️

CompactPhones5ever, 25 Jan 2022Glad to see more competition coming. 1400 is still quite a ... morePretty sure realme, redmi and likes on going to be onboard soon enough!!

Not everyone needs high end super nice cameras on phones, simple shooters are plenty enough!! Those who crib about cameras can look for cam centric phs.

                Still too expensive....
This technology is not new anymore.
This folding phone should not cost more than 1000€.

Who's going to be the lab rats first?! Good luck!! 😵

Glad to see more competition coming. 1400 is still quite a lot, but extra competition never hurts. Would really like to see some low quality/budget-friendly brands like Xiaomi joining in however.

Anyway, even with inferior cams, the device will shot better pics than 95% of the devices on the market

The goat, 25 Jan 2022Waste of moneyI love kneejerk reactions. Especially on products that don't even officially exist.

Personally, I won't be touching a Foldable until the tech is more reliable.

If it will have the same software and hardware experience as the Pixels 6, it will be a hard pass. I will stick to my Fold 3 and wait for the Fold 4 later this year.

                                  Waste of money

If they're gonna call it a Notepad, they should implement a G-Pen into it's body & make it Noteworthy...

But knowing Google, they'll probably launch that separately as an accessory, and charge $99-$199 for it.

And it will be released with 73% of the beta bugs that should have been fixed during beta testing. So enjoy, whoever is "smart" enough to waste money on pixel units.
