        I grew up with gsmarena. Normal users will never believe an algorithm such as AVG or others flawed.
        The app is on Google Play so it's clean. Most likely the "identify my phone" stuff give a false positive...

          Anti virus for phone.. joke. Even for pc its lame so for a device that cant have viruses this is funny.

            AVG is a virus i think.. I had it on several phones and i had problema with diffrent apps.. I uninstall him and no problem after! Sooo... Wtf?

Also, even if they did it would be particularly tough to match that to an actual point in our code since compiled code (as ran by the phone) is kind of obfuscated (not human legible) by nature. In any case, such false positives happen. The only real damage at the end of the day is to user trust and in this case our Play Store rating. It's an unfortunate circumstance.

                      What triggered the AV then? Might be a coding error. Any common functions would not trigger these.

                        I also have reported this to Avast and the yalready apologized. Jeez. Thanks for clearing up this issue.

                          Please call Avast as well please. It keeps saying it's a Trojan.

                                  Imagine using app

                                    To me it is the Antivirus that malfunctioned, as this sometimes affects most antivirus application out there.
