Weekly poll: should Samsung have kept the Galaxy Note series separate?

I've owned Notes from the Note II onward. The quality of the stylus improved with each iteration at the same time that later notes started taking away the features that I valued and differentiated the Note from regular phones. Swappable batteries were very practical and the headset jack gave me better audio. The motivation for making an external memory slot exclusively on top of the line only phones was obvious.
My wife and I both have Note 10's and we're reticent to pay premium for a phone with so many lost favorite features... well at least we have paused. Perhaps the camera will be so wonderful that we'll just bite the bullet and hop on once again. On the other hand, perhaps we'll just wait iteration or hop over to an Apple product.

The ultra can be the note, however there is no need of a S+ phone when having the ultra. It should be S lite (maybe a smaller phone), regular S and S ultra.

I'll give up my Fold 3 for the S22 Ultra. And I'll wait until Samsung stretches the width of the outer screen before getting another Fold.

Got S20+ over S20 Ultra cause of Ultra s focusing problems and Space Zoom was a gimmick!!! S21 series lost too much and stupid to pay $60 for an inferior S Pen!!!! Note 20 Ultra was last great phone!!!! Flop and Fold were way way overpriced which Samsung quickly dropped and no dust protection so so cameras and again paying for an inferior S Pen made it a loser phone. Think many were returned and are way too fragile

Fold and Flip were flops!!! Many returned and mysteriously the price was soon drastically lowered!!! S21 Ultra lost too much and like the S20 Ultra focus was an issue!!!! Stupid to pay for $60 for an Inferior sS Pen without Bluetooth and no place on phone to store and no the bulky case was no solution!!!! My S20+ has same cameras as S21 and S21+ and I have WQHD+ SCREEN RESOLUTION DISPLAY and SD Card Slot. Stupid to have 8K video and have room only for 2 3/4 hrs and that's without pictures apps and music etc!!!! Super Zoom was a fad that couldn't focus well!!! Only thing from S21 Ultra that I wish I had was Director s cut!! Note had fantastic cameras and everything else!!! Ultra was a gimmick to charge more money and drive people off S21 and S21+ !!!! Should get rid of the models maybe just 1 S and 1 Note model!!! Flop and Fold still lousy cameras not dustproof and very fragile!!!!

I honestly don't know a single person with a fold.... Everyone has iPhones or galaxy notes/s. Feel like samsung inflated the numbers

Of course, it happened one or two years past the warranty period so there was no media putrage as opposed to LG bootloops which happened within their warranty periods.

They can be announced separately. But not by half of a year. Every time when note series announced, S series was introduced 6 mths ago. Worst part is they using the same processor and share most of the same spec.
S22 ultra is a good start.

As long as you get a big phone and s pen there is no difference. You can go for Ultra.

Lol, having pen in phone means more money coming from buying replacements. Also Samsung is basically the only one having phone with precise pen inside for years.
Do not forget it's useful even more with bigger screens and foldables, just why not...

It was literally the greatest compact phone from samsung in recent years.
Waterproofing, headphone jack, sd card, wireless charging, light weight, etc it literally had everything.
Wish they had an s22e planned for this year. It could really do well battery wise with the upcoming 3 nm chip
