Facebook at least allows to share some content, some articles etc. Instagram and tiktok is just so plain, no content whatsoever.

I worked in tech for decades. People were being tracked even before social media. AI has just made it easier due to algorithms decision processing.
If it isn't a current social media company there will be a new one, even more sophisticated.

Welcome back EU. Its ten years late but a lovely and great decision. These companies turned the internet into some massive data collection tool without any ethics and morals and respect for basic human rights. Lots of social manipulation going on nowadays using the data collected.

Also the poll could be made in not such a black and white, do or do not style. Maybe add other poll options like:
I can live absolutely fine without the Meta apps.
It would be an inconvenience, but I could still manage.
I don't really use them as much.
