If it's working good now then I see no problem. Especially now, then there's litte difference between Android/iOS versions, and you can (almost) always install a custom ROM.

[deleted post]Bragging about britain being wealthy against today's India is like a theif bragging about his loots. Don't forget all the wealth Britain have today was looted from india, 45 trillion dollers by moderate British estimate. India used to control 24% of world economy before British theifs and looters arrived in India, and left it as a poster child of poverty. Lets see where India and Britain reaches in next 100 years. And let me tell you by today's economic growth figures it doesn't look good for Britain. Unless Britain's "daddy" USA don't help them generously with economic and geopolitical help, they are doomed.

Even my 270$ Xiaomi phone offers 4 years of updates launched last year.
OS updates can't be compared directly because they're basically the same as feature updates in windows and Android already have a lot more features even if they're a version or two behind the latest one.

4 years of updates in android town is a pretty huge deal; like a tiny oasis in a huge desert.
In iOS city, 4 years of updates is pretty mediocre.

Thats why many people want to move to uk. The livining standard is better in germany ; france ; switzerland ; sweden ; norway etc But they will have to learn all these hard languages ; so its easier to move in a english speaking countrie.

Samsung still beats Motorola's awful software update policy. Motorola will force us to update. No way out of it. Then it only lasts 2 years if you're into updating it. Most times, you only get one.
Eventually, I do update but usually near the end. Because many apps will no longer be compatible to an older firmware. With iOS, it usually takes 2-3 years. But Android, it's about 5 years. So if my last update is in 2025, I can probably still use a majority of my apps by 2030. That's 9 years using the same phone. I don't mind this.

Samsung improved a lot. One UI is simply amazing. My A52 works great. Imagine how flagships will work.
