Xiaomi 12, 12 Pro, and 12X prices for Europe leak

16 February 2022
You should definitely start saving up.

Sort by:

12X with double price over Poco F3 (290EUR here in Czechia for 6/128) just for better camera and 2 more GB RAM? they went insane, this should cost 400-450EUR and start at worst at 500EUR with immediate price cuts

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, xiaomi nowadays be like. Also when at first I was seeing that image of their latest high end device, it reminds me of the old Samsung Galaxy S8 or S9 lines, cuz the front looks just like that but with a punch hole camera. SMH.

RealLifePhones, 17 Feb 2022Xiaomi is crazy 🤣🤣 no one will buy this at these ridiculous... moreHowever, Xiaomi 12 is better than Galaxy S22 in 2 key aspects: much more powerful SOC and better battery life.
Galaxy S22 with its pathetic Exynos 2200 is just inferior device compared to any other flagship from any company (even Google Pixel).
And honestly Galaxy S22 on Exynos should be compared with good mid-range devices rather than flagships (and in fact it's a mid-range device rather than flagship).

joe nodden, 17 Feb 2022Hahahaha this is a joke right? Just a really really bad jok... moreI wouldn't fully trust these prices as they don't even quote exact prices but they are probably close enough based on the pricing of the Xiaomi Mi 11 last year. The 12x though is close enough to double the current official price of the k40 in China (1,799 rmb for the 8gb 128gb variant of the k40 versus 3,199 rmb for the same variant of the 12x). It is by far the most expensive snapdragon 870 in China and there are many snapdragon 888 phones that are a lot cheaper and even one Snapdragon 8 gen 1 phone that is cheaper. No wonder it's selling very poorly. It will for sure be at least 599 euro at the very minimum.

What the hell Xiaomi? xD I'm buying S22+ instead of the Xiaomi 12 Pro if the price will be in the same area.

Scram, 17 Feb 2022Xiaomi does not want to be known as the "cheap" b... moreTrue. They are trying to shake that image. All brands eventually want to succeed in the high end segment as that is where they can make the highest profit margins.

Anonymous, 17 Feb 2022If they don't want to be associated with "cheap&q... moreTrue, with that kind of software support, I will never recommend to get Xiaomi at that price. They better get Samsung or Apple. Xiaomi hardware is also always subpar compared to those two. The advantages such faster charging, unlockable bootloader, doesn't justify the hiking price.

RealLifePhones, 17 Feb 2022Xiaomi is crazy 🤣🤣 no one will buy this at these ridiculous... moreOur pal Captain is surely gonna buy the Pro 256GB for 1200 euros.
Despite the fact phone has crap JN1 on two cameras, usb2.0, no IP, heat issues, no LPTO 2.0, no jack, no sd slot.

Xiaomi is crazy 🤣🤣 no one will buy this at these ridiculous prices. The S22 series offers better software support (4 years OS & 5 years of security), better and useful cameras instead of a 5MP entry level macro, better Displays, better optimization, no forcing apps into standby and missing notification, no MIUI tracking, no chance of getting ads in the future for the same price. 🤣🤣
Xiaomi is going down the same route as OnePlus. 😕🙄

This 12x is worse than any 2020 flagships with same SD865.
                    What a huge scam.

                    - macro cam
                    - usb 2.0
                    - no IP
                    - cpu from 2020

Source means that both options for Pro (128 and 256GB ) cos between €1000 and €1200, not necessarily €1000 and €1200.

If it's true, the prices are away higher than last Xiaomi strategy prices.

Scram, 17 Feb 2022Xiaomi does not want to be known as the "cheap" b... moreIf they don't want to be associated with "cheap" they should do something about their horrid software updates and long term support. There is no way in hell I'd pay 1000€ for any Xiaomi and then get 3 years of updates. Maybe. Mostly consisting of MIUI updates stuck on old Android foundation. But sure, Xiaomi is great for people who only trip on specs written on paper. When you're in that price territory you may just as well take an iPhone or Galaxy S which both have about the same specs but million times better software support and consistency at delivering it.

                                Ewww!
Well Xiaomi might have one of worst Android Experience out there with least privacy & Security, all while loaded with lots of Bugs & Bloatware.
Also don't talk about Android updates because Xiaomi is definately behind other brands.
& Competition offer more or less the same Hardware for the price with better Software.

But all that can't stop Xiaomi from charging €1000 For their phones.Right?

                                  Crazy

Xiaomi took more risks before. Like Mi 9 SE and Mi 9T Pro. One small and the other one with pop up camera.

Just what the world needs - more punch hole displays. Pass.

Hahahaha this is a joke right? Just a really really bad joke right? Like an absolutely horrible and distasteful joke right?

The 12X, which only has a slightly better main camera and faster charging than the Poco F3 and almost all identical specs surely can't cost $680 right? Surely they wouldn't release almost the exact same phone for twice the price right?
