So...in other words....Sharp IGZO Pro OLED is still the better panel. Got it.

Basically, same as other oem method .. 120hz just almost useless for my usage.

My current phone never go 120hz when using browser apps ... So, I decided to just use 60hz for the entire phone since I can't take advantage of it & I rarely gaming on phone.

i think you will see 10Hz only during always on display where most of the display is dark and the remaining few pixels are active but dim

120HZ, 144HZ...really? It only adds 100 EUR more to the total price of smartphone. Every new stuff adds lprice and more battery consumption. And yet they package features as needed on hourly basis or even more. All the time. Refresh rate is overrated and not many are even using it. Especially because of higher battery consumption.

so why not just put LTPO display in S21 Plus to begin with?

i think samsung is crippling too much the s22 and s22 plus. The price difference isn't even that much. We also need a plus sized model with ltpo, and better camera hardware.

Just leave it with 120HZ. Battery life will be only minutes shorter. So don't worry and enjoy.

This must be so embarrassing for Samsung because they made the screen hardware, the SoC, the software built it all together and still can't clearly state how it functions 🙄
How hard can it be to ask the engineering team how exactly it works? Don't ask management or PR as they don't know technicalities...
