    I waited for this phone starting from july when they announced that they will launch this phone in india. Later in oct iPhone 12mini available at all time lowest price & I went for it.
    In android It is better to launch phone with latest processor or latest OS if phone is launching in any market this late.
    I don’t like iphone. But it is late to change.

      Waited a long time for this phone to arrive because I was a previous Zenfone 5z user and really loved the experience but then bought a Samsung M52 because couldn't wait any longer. Maybe next time have a better marketing campaign so people are at least aware of when the phpne is releasing. Really a lost opportunity for the company because by now other companies will launch new flagships with latest hardware.

                Why would they change the phone name just for the Indian market.

                  Sadly late. Wanted a compact phone, waited for long but finally caved in for S20 FE 5G.

                    Great phone, the only thing they could have done better would have been Snapdragon 870 instead of 888. 888 is just overkill, hot and powerhungry.

                          OnePlus still launched OnePlus 9 RT with Android 11 and Snapdragon 888, still nobody bats an eye.

                          And don't think Snapdragon 8 gen 1 phones are any better. To be first in market, some manufacturers are launching phones with a failed Samsung made chips, when TSMC version would launch very soon. Early bird does get the worm but the worm runs too hot in this case. Either wait for this or Dimensity 9000 phones, or buy a phone with last gen chips and save some money.

                            I hope this is the mark 2 version. All the original Zenfone 8s bricked within 6 months.

                              I'll not be on the first buy list but i'm definitely gonna get one. Been waiting for this beast for 6 months now.
