Share codebase? Including or excluding the backdoor for Chinese Gov? As long as they keep clean of these junk as they did before, it will be great.

But wait..... The new phone can snap in half tho

My OnePlus 8t is still on oxygen os 11. It pisses me off that OnePlus is talking about 13 when 12 isn't even rolled out.

I'll believe it when I see it. At first they said they wouldn't change it and they changed it super quick. I will have to see some of these other phones showing a stock experience.

That is nic emove, now its really on OP side to do that and confirm they promises and I will go back to OP.
I'm big fan of OP but enough is enough promises and ala fix bugs and make it more bugs was enough for me.

I hole there will be a day when they come from promises to act again and start listening users again like old OP.

What an unexpected move, who knew Oneplus would listen to their users but I still remain skeptical. Once they iron the bugs out then it's going to be back to normal. As for now, Realme is the alternative Oneplus.

            This is the way.

It's funny how OP is so transparent about its plans, including colourful slides, when it believes it will increase sales. However, transparency about things like bug fixes and the Android 12 update for existing customers is nowhere to be found.

My Nord 2 will only get 5G in Australia if I download an app and force it to use 5G. Without it, the phone will only do 4G. Users in other countries posted bug reports on the OP forums 5 months ago and it was never addressed, despite follow-up posts, so I know it won't be fixed.

Finally! OnePlus listened to the community crying for the real OxygenOS. Good job OnePlus!

Not to mention battery draining super fast. Luckily I didn't buy it new, but second hand with a very nice price. Practically if I will sell it, I will not loose too much money.
I was waiting for the OnePlus 10 Pro, but after I saw its hardware failure, I am 100% sure I will not buy a OnePlus phone in the near future.
Still, the feel of stock Android in their software is really nice. That is one of the reasons I don't like Samsung and Xiaomi phones.
Maybe I will switch to Realme or Sony, even back to IOS.

Oxygen os is the pathway to make a name in western markets. After all said and done, they merged with coloros and working under supervision of BBK. Now the time to launch spyware globally with so called unifiedos.

I hope oneplus also increases their yearly phone updates to 5 years like Samsung.

George399, 28 Feb 2022Why so much hate? Somebody explain it plsAs i understood, OnePlus lately is a disaster. Especially with durability and software. If you didn't saw last news, OnePlus 10 brakes easily so people who are on the older generations of OnePlus have no choice. It's either they move to OnePlus 10 and loose things they had on their older device or move to other smartphone company. Correct me if i'm wrong or you can add some things i missed :)
