HTC to announce a flagship Android phone in April

It will reportedly focus on AR and VR with deep integration into HTC's Viveverse platform.

    HTC always have wacky ideas when it comes to flagship models. Rember the Snapdragon 845-powered Exodus 1? That was the first ever Android smartphone to fully rely on blockchain and cryptocurrency.

      Great news, last year I finally retired my HTC 10 and bought the U20 5G, great phone, great quality. I hope HTC continues making quality, reliable phones for many years to come, and I'll continue being a loyal customer

        I've owned the HTC One M7 twice and the M8 once. I preferred the M8 from the brief ownership I had with it.

        Their designs are really outdated by today's standards. No water or dust resistance. Huge bezels that people whine about these days. We get dual front speakers without the grills that adds an unnecessary bigger forehead and chin. The rounded back makes it easy to wobble on a table like an old iPhone 3G and 3GS. BlinkFeed has been dead for years.

        People who want HTC back is all about nostalgia. But will they really buy HTC and support them in the long haul? Probably not. Then back to their grave and irrelevancy.

            HTC must be want to back.
            Because 5 year back i purchased one HTC mobile.
            Totally comfortable, perfect performance, totally perfect. At the moment i am using this. From my children some damages on the devise.
            Back camera blur
            One speaker not working
            Mic not working
            4g sim slot damage.
            After also i am using.
            When i receive or dial a call i will using load speaker and using mic of multimedia recorder.
            However i am using that.
            Because at the moment i can't buy the smart mobile.
            Happy with this HTC.

              The days are fone when HTC produced some sensibly features phones like HTC One M7, M8. Now the HTC has become another ordinary.

                                I hope they introduce a proper flagship. Android desperately needs one as there is none in the market. Only extremely overpriced phones with limited features. We need a phone that does it all. Memory expansion, charger in the box etc.

                                        Well if this phone is just for AR and VR functions I do not see this phone lasting long, and will suffer a premature death. Look at what happened with the Facebook integrated phones that HTC made.
