We need comeback of Huawei, HTC and brands like LG, Sony.
Only strong competition makes market healthy.
      And useful for consumers.
      Stop monopoly,
remove meaningless Huawei Ban based on lies.

HTC should sell their patents and stuff to Asus, the only other Taiwanese company making smartphones. Will benefit both of them.

Hope is not a midrange with 8g1 like realme gt2 pro.
Needs to be full flagship, no matter price.

Something like x70 pro+ is enough

HTC smartphone division is back from the dead somehow.

cyber, 02 Mar 2022htc is dead as stone, why bothering to buy flagship phone fr... moreThey may be practically considered dead (for now) but their experience and capabilities in creating a remarkable piece of technology would still remain for as long as they have top-notch employees that continue to work there. I know it because HTC phones have had almost all sorts of problems but durability. Apart from the U Ultra (a one-off in pretty much the entire history of their smartphone era), I've never heard of HTC phones becoming failures in durability.
At the very least, we could expect some quality products from HTC if they could get things right in their upcoming big comeback.

I hope this is good. I'd love to see HTC make a comeback, but if done wrong this could destroy their business.

Get ready for 2000$ plus smart phone from htc

let's see, will their flagship use the Helio G35? At the moment flagships only Samsung, apple and Xiaomi behind them are the best no one buys $700+ especially on HTC.

That whole VR implementation on a smartphone reminds of Samsung's Gear VR... Guess what happened next.

"The upcoming HTC flagship will focus on VR and AR"

So, will it be able to be paired with proper VR headset, or will it use a traditional cardboard? Either way, I expect this thing to be pricey, because HTC Vive series itself is kinda expensive.
