Wow A15 is sooo powerful!!
Apple even know that the market which this phone is destined to will NOT see the difference between iPhone 6 (2014) and this one with a case on it.

The only problem with Apple is they are killing third party repairs and getting job done from Apple authorised center is super costly. They quoted me $400 just to replace the 3.5mm jack on 2019 MBP, that's obnoxious.

Go buy a tablet if you need such, I still want to use my phone with a single hand.

Great opportunity for more people to test iOS ecosystem. So much more people would want to buy iPhone than currently can and this gives many of them new opportunity.
2020 model already last year were 8th best selling smartphone in the world, now the demand going to be even higher.

429 dollars for 64GBs.......what?
Okay, older desgin, fair, it's to cut cost, but by now if you are selling a phone for that cash, 64GB shouldn't be base, especially with an LCD screen that doesn't even have high refresh rate and small battery.
This phone is overall bad for its price, it's made for people who want to brag they own an iPhone, it's Ferrari Portfino of phones, overpriced for what it is and just for bragging rights for those who can't afford actual product that's worth the price from the company.

Don’t really understand the price rise… it’s now only 50 cheaper than an 11 which has a bigger screen and battery life, the two most relevant features for most people. A15 seems like overkill for a 4.7 screen which is mostly for email calls and social media.
Seems like a really minimal upgrade and not worth the higher price.

Poco F4 will be a big phone with Oled screen, nice super fast charging, but probably average cameras. Perfect for gaming or watching movies/videos though.
iPhone SE3 will be a phone that will be used for basic tasks (phone calls, messages and your occasional web browsing/social media). Yeah, good camera, probably best Lcd display on the market. But I doubt anyone will buy iPhone SE3 to watch movies all play games on it. That is why I think the A15 chipset is useless in a phone like this. And they should have used the A14 chipset instead, to cut the price down.

Apple probably thinks they've created something like Mustang '67 a few years ago with iPhone 6, but they didn't. It's getting outdated and old. But not in a good way like the Mustang (or Bradd Pitt). They decided to put a new modern "engine" in it and call it a day. It's sad that there are people who are going to buy this new phone. I don't care about where their money goes, but it will support the brand and their ego so this messing with the costumer never stops.

The SE is a pure business oriented device. It would be a great device with a different display ration, even in iOS most apps are optimized for at least 18:9 and more, so it's very difficult to use them at 16:9, look even at Google Maps, it's one of the apps that screams for "long" displays...

SE still has a place because the price gap is quite big regardless. Question is, how much will SE3 cost in Europe... People mock it, but it's still all really nicely machined aluminium and glass, flagship chipset, higher tier LCD display, one of best speakers and vibration motors and still very much competent camera. A single camera, but a very good single camera.
