But I couldn't get why it sounds like a dream, all brands now switch to Sony because their sensors are easier to polish so you can achieve the best of it sparing less effort compared to Samsung counterparts. So, Xiaomi this time can debut a customized Sony sensor which is approx. 1-inch like they debuted GN2 last year which is still the biggest other than 1-inch sensor on Aquos R6 and Xperia Pro-1 and most capable smartphone camera sensor in the industry.(though Xiaomi couldn't put its bright spots to good use.)

That sensor is called Isocell Bright GN2. This one is probably a part of IMX8XX sensor series so it is manufactured by Sony, and Xiaomi 12 Ultra might debut a IMX9XX series sensor (1/1.08-inch), which is even bigger than this one.

If I can not buy it, I consider this just a prototype.
Showing prototypes, selling much weaker phones then.
All flagship android phones have big problem: Android as a system just needs too much resources to run, from energy to RAM. And they are sadly behind Apple latest 13 pro (max).
I do not need 100W charging capabilities (its nice but not crutial), I just need phone lives thru out the day.
I would buy honor magic 4 ultimate TODAY. Not in a year. And this is big problem for Android ecosystem.
I do not want to have an iPhone, but what else can I buy (among flagship). I ordered S22 Ultra (with bad Exinos 2200). Still did not get it. And I do not belive that I will keep it. Not if it is true it produces bad photos comared to Snapdragon variant and produces too much heat. I simply do not want a phone that needs charging twice a day.
And iPhone is here for almost halve year. Sells everywhere. And if you choose to sell it, it goes next day.
Google with Android has to do something more or it will stay second one. Or last one.

The Chinese simply swapped the companies. How awesome is that...
