In theory. Hopefully also in practice. It's just odd that no one came up with this solution before and Samsung for example makes own lithium cells... Surely they'd figure out something like this... But oh well, good on Oppo if they were the first to come up with this and it actually works.

modern flagships can be used for 3-5 years with a proper software support(oppo has 3+1 years support). regular batteries fall to 70% in 3 years and require replacement. with such a battery lifespan,nobody would need to replace battery upto 5 years which is a very good thing.

By the way, this is temperature of surface not internal which is higher.
Of course it is not any near the 57 celsius of xiaomi 120W.
You will never see phone with 60, 80, 100, 120 or 200W charging at 30-32 degrees.
